Dr. Wally Joseph, DNP ARNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Wally Joseph is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). He obtained his Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), and his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Azusa Pacific University in California. He received his Master’s degree from South University as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Dr. Joseph possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. He strongly believes that patient care includes both caring for and caring about the life and wellbeing of his patients. He follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.
Before starting Essential Clinic, he worked at Foresight Mental Health for almost a year. He was the lead Nurse Practitioners at Palliative Care Doctors Group (PCDG) where he provided care to patients at Cedar-Sinai Hospital (Marina Del Rey), assisted living, board and care facilities, and as well as skill nursing facilities (SNF). He provided a very special type of care that is quite patient/family centered focusing on quality of life throughout the entire disease process.
He is an active member of several professional organizations American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association (ANA).
He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. Wally’s hobbies and interests include reading, running, hiking, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Dr. Joseph Morris PhD, ARNP, AGNP, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Morris is a Bio-behavior Psychotherapist. He is passionate about working with clients to create a treatment plan that utilizes current holistic approaches so that they can feel better. His goal is to empower people to be their best in an effort to live a rewarding and productive life.
Dr. Morris’ education includes a doctoral degree with emphasis placed on biological behaviors of the brain. He is also nationally recognized as a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a sub-specialty in anger management. His areas of clinical focus include treating diverse individuals, couples, and family members from ages 18 to 100 years living with mental health disorders. He has a distinct interest in using various treatment options, which include multiple mental health therapies, medication management, and psychoeducation to help individuals cope with anger issues, aggressive behaviors, anxiety, addiction, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, bipolar, eating, psychotic, Schizoaffective, sleeping, motivation, self-esteem, and other mental health disorders.
Brittney Fisher ARPN, MSN, FNP-BC
Brittney is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in the healthcare field. Known for her compassionate approach, Brittney has built a reputation as a caring and empathetic healthcare provider. Her passion for helping others is evident in every patient interaction, where she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of those in her care. Christian Lazarte LMFT, LCADC, MS
With 12 years of dedicated experience in mental health therapy and substance use disorders, Christian Lazarte has committed his career to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. Throughout his journey as a counselor, he has supported clients facing a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, impulse control, anger management, substance abuse, communication difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, and ADHD.
Christian recognizes that these disorders impact not only individuals but also their loved ones, affecting various aspects of life, including work, social interactions, school, and relationships.
